Trent-Severn Waterway – A Traveller’s Companion

History and photographs of places along the Trent Severn Waterway. Chapter 2 cover the history leading up to the decision to build the canal with its many locks to allow travel up and down the system. Chapter 3 includes Gilmour’s Mill, Drumlin country, and the iron forge in the backwoods. Chapter 4 includes Hastings, squared timber, life in the lumber camps. There are in total 10 chapters followed by the epilogue, notes, bibliography and appendix.
