The Peterborough Story: Our Mayors 1850-1951

SKU UB0160 Categories ,

This booklet is designed to be a handy guide, for both students who continually ask the newspaper for ‘something on Peterborough’ and for citizens and readers whose interest in the City of Peterborough has matured.  Its chapters deal with the terms in office of the many men who have been mayors of Peterborough, after an introduction to municipal government in Ontario.

These articles appeared in the Peterborough Examiner in 1963 and 1965, covering two 50-year periods, written by G. Wilson Craw, Executive Editor of the Examiner.
