The list of Toronto inhabitants in this publication  was extracted from the Toronto portion of ROWSELL’S  City of Toronto and County of York Directory for 1850-51.  this book is intended to fill the gap in TORONTO population records created by the loss of 1848, 1850, 1851-2 Toronto census records.
