The story of a village that grew into being in Darlington Township, Durham County. At various times it carried different names. To some early settlers it was Pilchardtown. Later, in 1826, it came to be called Toole’s Corners. Then in the 1860s, it was named Solina.

Through some 350 pages, this book looks at the growth of schools, churches, social life in the village and the people who came to call this place home.
